Both brothers had learned their trade diligently serving apprenticeships at England's
centre of upholstery excellence in Long Eaton. Frank and Michael saw an opportunity to
create a unique business crafting the very finest quality sofas, settees and upholstered
furniture in the country.
Steed upholstery was born.

Today, 45 years later Steed Upholstery retains the same values of the highest quality and service that has set it apart from all other upholstery manufacturers.

The family focus remains with Michael Steed's son Roderick and two daughters Caroline and Joanna running the business to the same high standards supplying the UK's premier retailers.

The family are supported by loyal staff who are trained to be the best in the UK, many of whom have been with the business for over 25 years.
